About the Cabin
This is every bit a genuine Log Cabin, the Western Red Cedar logs were all felled, hand peeled and crafted by The Timber Kings (as seen on TV) who work for Pioneer Log Homes of British Columbia, in Canada.
It was then shipped over the Atlantic Ocean and re-assembled in The Highlands in just a day and a half. Then the real hard work began with some very skilled local craftsmen and all the other trades required to complete the project to the highest possible standard. It took just over three months to complete the build after the logs arrived. Alison was on site every day overseeing the whole project and then decorated it from top to bottom to offer you a five-star retreat.
One guest recently said that you can feel Alison's heart beating when you're inside the cabin. She certainly did pour her heart and soul into this build. You will get a real sense of this when you see the attention to detail and then notice the unusual finishing touches throughout.
Everything has been thought of to make your stay magical and memorable...

Exclusive use
-
If you would prefer complete privacy then this is available at an additional £250 per night on top of the standard rate for those nights. Honeymooners or folk who just want the place to themselves often upgrade to the exclusive use rate which can be selected on the booking page. This does not allow you to use the other accommodation, it just means no one else can book it during your stay.
-
Subject to prior bookings of course, so booking ahead may be required to benefit from the exclusive use.
Please note that there is a camera in the kitchen area connected to our fire detection - this is only monitored if the alarm sounds repeatedly. This is for the safety of the guests.
